Processing Modalities

The Data Controller shall process the Users’ Data in an adequate manner and shall adopt appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of the Data. The processing of Data will be carried out by means of computers and/or IT tools, following procedures and organizational modalities strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases the Data may be accessed by certain categories of authorized persons related to the operation of this Application (administration, sales, marketing, legal and systems administration departments) or by external contractors providing services to the Data Controller (such as external technical service providers, courier companies, hosting companies, IT companies, communication agencies) who will be appointed by the Data Controller as Data Processors, if necessary. The Data Controller may process the User’s Personal Data, if one of the following conditions is met:

Place

Conservation period

Personal Data will be processed and kept for the time necessary and for the purpose for which they have been collected.

  • Personal Data collected for the formalization of a contract between the Data Controller and the User shall be retained as such until such time as such contract has been fully formalized.
  • Personal Data collected in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller shall be retained for the time necessary to fulfill such purpose. Google Fonts is a service of visualization of typographic families provided by Google LLC that allows this Application to incorporate such contents in its pages.

Amendments and Changes

Payment Methods come from various providers, and each provider controls the terms that apply to your Payment Method. Accordingly, the terms and Documentation applicable to a Payment Method are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to periodically review the terms and Documentation to ensure that you are aware of and comply with the applicable requirements.

Openpay may add or remove Payment Methods at any time. If Openpay removes a Payment Method, it will notify you before the removal is effective for you, except where a third party (such as the Payment Method provider) requires Openpay to stop offering the Payment Method.

Redirection to online banking pages

Some Payment Methods require Customer redirection to an online banking page (“Online Banking Payment Methods”). If you use an Online Banking Payment Method, you must ensure that the Customer is able to recognize that the redirection has occurred through the display of the bank’s URL in the browser address line, and the Customer must be able to review the security certificate of the bank’s online banking page. In addition, you may not use any iframe (or any other method that embeds the online banking page within the content of your site) when including an online banking payment method in your checkout process.
